Last Show for 2021

We have been super busy these past couple months! We were given an Opportunity to be a vendor at OP Vet Fest in Round Rock, TX on October 30th. We met so many great people and enjoyed ourselves so much. The weather was so beautiful!

The week before was an interesting week, to say the least. We had a cool front blow in here to central Texas around 4:45am. I got up because the wind was blowing so crazy hard, just in time to see our chicken coop go rolling down the hill in our backyard.....with my last 2 chickens in it. Luckily when it stopped raining I grabbed my mud boots and a flashlight and went out to check on the chickens. The coop was upside down, literally on its roof, with the 2 chickens still in it. I grabbed them up and put them in a dog crate to keep them safe. For anyone wondering, we started in the spring with 22 chickens, between the bobcat and the hawks we have 2 left. How those wondering how I know it was a bobcat, I stepped out our backdoor one day and not 15ft from me making eye contact with me in the middle of the day was a very fat and healthy bobcat. Then not a month later I was looking out my back window during the day again and saw him/her snag a squirrel. The chickens now have a pretty coop that in brand new and the chicken run will be delivered on Friday.

The next 2 weeks will be spent getting ready for the big Georgetown Market Days on November 13, 2021. This will be our last show for the 2021 season. After that I will be busy filling your internet orders till December 15, 2021 when I will not be filling any orders guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas.

I cannot believe that 2021 is almost over. Where has the year gone?! Most of it is still a blackhole in my memory, kinda like 2020 was. Lord, please help 2022 be a better year for all of us!
